ABOUT ME: Hey! I’m Randi and I’m a Northern California agriculture girl turned full time mama! I’ve been in agriculture and heavy equipment operations for the last 10 years! After having my daughter Reese Kay my husband and I decided I would stay home for a while! So as a creative outlet I started creating rein chain jewlz! Along with my photography I’ve been doing for the last 5 years. (Jack of all trades I know)
I’ve been enjoying having a creative outlet along side being a new mom so much and I’ve gotten so much support that has made it all worth wild! I plan on eventually going back to work in agriculture and or heavy equipment operation when Reese is a little older, I truly enjoy hard work and the outdoors! I love California and love to educate people about our state and the agriculture side of it since so many people don’t realize we are the #1 agriculture state in the COUNTRY! I hope my daughter gets to grow up like I did in CA AG!!

FUN FACTS: I’m 6 ft tall I feel like people never think that online so when I meet them it’s always a shock, I LOVE tattoos, my husband and I bought a 1912 home we have had to completely remodel ourselves from the ground up! I’m a caffeine addict, and I love hunting and fishing!

ABOUT ME:
Born and raised in Montana. Art and horses have always been my go to. I didn’t do any further formal training after highschool. My dad built saddles for 40 years and my folks have always been my biggest fans. There’s a lot of creativity in my family. Ive never not felt like pursuing art in some form, horses were always the escape and release. I started professionally with acrylic paintings, large wildlife and western pieces. Now residing in Western South Dakota ranching with my husband and our two small kids on his home place. I’m very fortunate our lifestyle provides daily access to inspiration and drawing material. Since having children I’ve pivoted to focus on western ink drawings and watercolor as I’ve found they work well with minimal space and prep/clean up time. Becoming a mother has been the biggest blessing to my creative journey, it’s changed everything about my process and how I approach things. They bring me the utmost joy and help me appreciate all the little moments. I’ve slowed down a lot and really tried to embrace learning and practicing. I’m a big advocate of educating people on proper image use and finding open source references so they’re not stealing from other artists along with not supporting companies and makers who rip off original artists aka creativity coyotes.

FUN FACTS:
At 16 I placed 1st in my category at the Calgary Stampede Art show with a cowboy I painted from the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale. This moment solidified every dream to pursue becoming a full time artist.
Due to very poor life choices and youthful pride I was living in my vehicle, working at Home Depot. Drove to Washington State over the weekend for an interview and the next week drove out with my horse and cat to work at a dude ranch when I was 20.
I had two tattoo apprenticeships that I backed out on because I couldn’t see myself really loving the work and being true to my art. I have a completely solid shoulder to wrist sleeve along with a bunch of other tattoos.

I’ve known I’ve wanted to be in the country music industry since I was 15 years old and have been working since to make this dream a reality. I released my first single, called Can’t Take Me Down, at 16 years old. I then went back to studio at the age of 17 and recorded my first album called Trailblazer. And my latest project has been another single called Carry On Cowboy.

FUN FACTS: I love spending my spare time writing songs, going to swing dances, and just enjoying the simple small town life. But more than anything I love to be on stage. That’s where I feel the most alive and free. It’s where I feel all of my cares and worries melt away and I can just sing and get to know my audience.

ABOUT ME: Hi, I’m Mattie Stansfield! First and foremost I am a follower of Christ. Throughout my life the Lord has given me incredible opportunities, kept my safe in scary situations but best of all the fear of the Lord has humbled me in ways I could have never imagined. My life has been full of chaos, ups and downs but without Gods divine intervention and the gift of repentance I would not be where I am today!

I am also a fifth generation rancher, singer /songwriter, mom of two girls and a wife to my wonderful husband Nash.

FUN FACTS: I met Nash at a rodeo in Cody, WY in 2019. Just a few months later he bought a ranch north of Kingman Arizona and I moved out there with him, he was 21 and I was 19 at the time. Our first home was a camper trailer with no AC or refrigerator, we would stop at the gas station after a full day of work and load trash bags with Ice for our coolers to keep the food cold and I swear it would be 125 degrees in there! Those times were some of my favorite memories. Before Nash, I trained calf horses and ran barrels but he taught me how to handle desert cattle and what a tough horse truly was. Just recently we had the opportunity to buy a beautiful ranch in Southern New Mexico!

I won’t make a product I wouldn’t use myself. And I’m fortunate enough to really be able to put my products to the test as a rider 6 months out of the year.

ABOUT ME: Hello, my name is Sage Knight, and I design and make pearl snap shirts. I also work full time on a ranch in Nevada, and I have a deep love for the sagebrush desert I’m named after.

As a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a fashion designer and would sketch outfit ideas all the time. I never actually made a piece of clothing though. I didn’t know how to read a pattern, and it looked like math was involved, so I steered clear haha. That changed in 2022 when I sewed my very first piece of clothing, which was a pearl snap shirt. A lady who lived down the road from the ranch (and who is very skilled at sewing) helped me create that first piece. Since then, designing and making shirts has become a creative outlet I truly enjoy, and in a roundabout way, I’ve made my childhood dream come true. By the end of 2025, I reached a milestone marker by making my 100th shirt and getting to take a collection to the NFR. That same year, I also launched my own shirt line. With the help from Taylee Judd, I created the Cowboy Hawaiian shirts. They feature desert wildflowers in a bold, Hawaiian-inspired print. They’ve been both my biggest accomplishment and my biggest challenge, as putting them into bulk manufacturing has been a major learning experience. Nevertheless, I’m incredibly excited about them and have big plans for what’s ahead. I also am extremely grateful for my customers these past couple of years as none of this would’ve been possible without them.

ABOUT ME: My name is Kate Picha-Arndt, and I’m the Graphic Designer behind Western Identity, a niche graphic design company that specializes in designing Livestock Brands for farmers, ranchers, business owners, and hobbyists across the world. I was born to a family of artists and entrepreneurs, and grew up on a small farm in Corning, CA where I was raised with a love for horses, agriculture, and small producers. I developed an obsession for graphic design my junior year of high school, but after being told that I would never find a way to link that career to my county-bumpkin lifestyle, I almost let it go. Six years later, I found myself living on a remote ranch in Eureka, NV - over an hour and a half away from the nearest town job. A commute like that in my 20 year old diesel pickup wasn’t an option – so in 2020, I started offering graphic design services to online western boutiques and businesses. Over the next four years, I was able to find my niche, overhaul my business, and finally build a real income that I could rely on.

She has carried these passions through her life—from the performance horse industry to serving as Miss Rodeo Arizona 2023 and working as Communications Coordinator for Prescott Frontier Days—building a career in Western Strategic Communications and Marketing.
Now back in school pursuing a degree in Agricultural Communications with a minor in Rangeland Sciences, Katie is combining her academic and professional experience. Guided by the belief “if not now, when,” she is launching Lil Red Vaquera Digital Media to share the stories of those whose lives are rooted in the land.

In her primary role, Kensie serves as the Digital Communications Specialist for @officialapha, where she manages seven social media platforms and shares the story of the Paint Horse and the Western way of life with a broad audience.

She is also a freelance journalist for the @prca_prorodeo and @westernhorseman, covering rodeo athletes and exploring the stories of those who have influenced and continue to shape our industry.

Kensie earned her bachelor’s degree in agriculture communications from Missouri State University and her master’s from Texas Tech University, where she served as national president of the National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow.

When she’s not working, Kensie continues to lean into storytelling, sharing the voices of the people and the traditions founded in the Western industry. She also works as a personal/creative assistant to @kenziegk at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and beyond.

FUN FACT: During her undergraduate studies, Kensie explored broadcast journalism beyond her agriculture communications coursework. That experience led to a project focused on mental health in agriculture, which earned an Emmy Award. She remains grateful for the professor who took a chance on her and continues to influence her work.

I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my grandpa always encouraged me to share my art. He would tell me it was a God-given talent and that it deserved to be seen. In 2023, I finally decided to take his advice and put my work out into the world.

Living this way of life, surrounded by beautiful land, animals, and people that are around us, gives me endless inspiration. My art is a reflection of that—of the places we love and the life we live.

FUN FACTS: I grew up surrounded by horses, cattle, sheep, and dogs, which naturally led me to fall in love with the Western way of life. There’s something special about caring for animals—knowing that when you take care of them, they take care of you in return.

I minister to women across our state that God meets us in the garden; no matter where we are planted. I write blogs, speak at events, host workshops, and attend community events to inspire everyone to slow down and appreciate the beauty of Creation. I, of course, farm myself. We have wonderful flower fields, an expanding lavender farm, an apple orchard, and of course all the cute animals to keep my kids happy and my husband busy.

I’ve been creative for as long as I can remember — I started writing poetry when I was just eight years old, and writing has always been the one thing that’s come naturally to me. Today, you can find my work in Western Horseman, which still feels like a pinch-me moment.
My path into the Western industry wasn’t traditional. I didn’t grow up in a Western family — I simply fell in love with the culture and kept showing up until I earned a seat at the proverbial table. I got my start working as an Event Intern Coordinator, helping with Mountain States Circuit Finals. Later, while I was in college, I became the Social Media Manager for Greeley Hat Works. That’s where my love for Cowboy hats truly took root, and my enthusiasm for Western fashion only grew stronger.
Since then, I’ve been honored to serve on the committee for the Colorado Stampede Rodeo in Grand Junction, where we host a rodeo every Memorial Day weekend. Being part of something that brings our community together in such a meaningful way is one of my greatest joys.
When I’m not writing, planning outfits, or chasing stories, I’m running my son to his sports and soaking up this beautiful, busy life. The Western way of life wasn’t handed to me — I chose it. And I’ll always be grateful that it chose me right back.

FUN FACT: I dropped out of a private art college when I was 18 years old, lived in the back of my Ford Explorer and traveled the U.S. This was before our phones mapped everything for us, I had to use paper maps, which I still can’t read to this day.

This beautiful lady and I met during her time as Miss Rodeo Colorado and have had the pleasure of staying connected through our careers in rodeo ever since! Let’s meet the lovely Hailey Loven 💕

ABOUT ME: Originally from Colorado, Hailey is deeply rooted in agriculture and the western way of life. A first-generation graduate of Colorado State University, she earned her degree in Animal Science with a minor in Agricultural Business before going on to pursue her master’s in Agricultural Communications at Oklahoma State University.

Hailey served as Miss Rodeo Colorado (2020–2021) and was crowned Miss Rodeo America in 2022, traveling more than 100,000 miles representing the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and promoting her platform, “#BeAnAgvocate.”

She later joined The Cowgirl Channel, the first 24/7 network dedicated to women in rodeo, launched Gold Crown Coaching to help others grow in confidence and strategy, and now serves as a Western Events Representative for Montana Silversmiths. Through every role, she remains passionate about advocating for agriculture and elevating the western industry.

FUN FACTS: I am an only child and have no cousins.

As an advocate for western lifestyle east of the Mississippi, my husband and I found ourselves wanting to use our marketing/sales education and work backgrounds to help promote rodeo and values of the western way of life in the Southeast- so we fell into it naturally through content creation, podcasting, and YouTube. FUN FACT - I’ve always been a horse girl, but I didn’t grow up in a horsey family. ABOUT ME: I’m Cheyenne Draves! I have been an equine dental technician for 12 years and it truly is my passion. I always tell people I have the best job in the world. I love traveling to different places, meeting and connecting with clients, and being able to help a horse’s performance and overall health through dentistry. I also have a podcast called the Women in Western Podcast. I love chatting with women from all facets of our industry, sharing stories, and adding value to others through conversation and experiences. My husband and our two children are currently relocating to Caldwell ID from Longmont CO. Most importantly about me, I am a follower of Jesus Christ!

FUN FACTS: I ride with a rodeo flag team called the Colorado Stars & Stripes. We get contracted to rodeos, polo matches, and various other equestrian events to carry our nations flag and present colors. I grew up riding on a drill team, so being able to do this as an adult is very fulfilling. I ride my AQHA gelding Brick. He is the first 2 year old colt I ever started, and now he is 10. We have done a lot of cool things together, and our favorite rodeo to do every year is Greeley Stampede.

SOMETHING FUN: When my husband and I met he was a working cowboy, which made for a lot of fun adventures while we dated and in early marriage. When our daughter was 6 months old I was the ranch cook for hunting camp. For 3 months we lived in a fifth wheel camper with no running water while I cooked 3 meals per day, 6 days per week for 5-30 cowboys and hunters, all with my baby girl by my side! It is one of my most cherished memories!
